Ouch. That would be the one world I would use to describe the test.
The kanji section I was at about 60%…
The reading and listening were a bit better…..
The grammar was a complete demon. If I pass this, it is only because I guessed well.
Realistically, I am reading around 400 kanji. The test can contain up to 1000 of the near 2000 常用漢字 (Jyouyou kanji,) or daily kanji that most people should know when they graduate high school.
Everyone I have talked to felt the same way about the test, so perhaps that is not a good sign. Now I just have to wait for 4 months to get the results..
