More about Seoul..

The reason a lot of people go to South Korea is because of how cheap things are. Not so much in retail outlets, but more so in the various street markets and outlets.

Wondering through the markets was quite interesting. Everything you could imagine. But they are all divided into districts. Meaning that everything is together. Kitchen supplies, housing goods, clothing, pets, building supplies etc. So walking through the areas, you can go for two or three blocks in the kitchen goods, and then the next area is shoes or clothing. Even better in the farmers market was the dog.. prime cuts.. No pictures sorry.

The rest of the time we spent walking around Seoul, visiting palaces and gardens. While the gardens were nice, the palaces were kind of boring. At least in comparison to Japanese and Chinese temples. The architecture is almost identical, but on the inside very boring. No artwork, just empty rooms. I imagine most of the artwork and cultural treasures have been liberated to museums. Anyway, it was a nice place to walk and enjoy the fabulous weather.
