Happy turkey day all. No thanksgiving in japan, but we did have a federal holiday wednesday. So we went to a viking restaurant and ate enough to feel that post-feast legathic tsunami hit.. no pecan or pumpkin pie though

God the eighties were great. I just finished watching some macguyver and a-team. I don’t remember the shows being so crappy back then, of course I didn’t have such a fine tuned since of reality. Fun stuff none the less, waiting for airwolf…
Not much going on.. saving and waiting for myanmar… hoping not to get the bird flu.
Anyways, there are some pics up on flickr of the halloween party I went to and a recent excursion to Miyajima to climb a mountain and find some monkeys. Unfortunately there were no monkeys, but I did make it to the top. A friend came with us, a new jet and fellow aikidoka. He started with yoshinkan in toronto, and is very robotic. Fun to hear how the yoshinkan people make fun of the aikikai people and vice-versa.. of course we all can make of ki society.

On a side note, anyone else have flash issues with firefox? I have sites that behave eradically in firefox (flash.) But in flock and mozilla they work fine..
I feel like have I been really busy, but in actuality I have not. That is unless you count about 4 hours a day of aikido and my english classes. Probably more of a physical tiredness then anything.
Happy late halloween people. I hope you did something enjoyable.. l2 and I went to a friends apartment for a ‘mexican food’ party. I made about 20oz of the best damn guac I have ever had… some other people made tacos and nachos but everything sucked in comparison (margaritas were present of course.)
After that we proceeded to a local bar for a halloween party. Same bar as last year ( over a year in nippon now w00t) and it was a little more enjoyable. l2 went as a russian hostess and I as a deuchebag winey emo kid. However it was pointed out that we looked liked britney spears and kevin federline.. at least they go the deuchebag right eh. It was ok.. nothing super exciting.. probably because there was not rB+v0dka. Anyways, pictures up on flickr soon.

Planning our winter vacation out right now. We will be going to Thailand and Myanmar for around 2 weeks. For those that do not know myanmar, it used to be burma. Looking forward to the warm weather and cheappppp stuff, thai massage included.. so far, Bankok, Yangon, Rangon, Mandalay and some other small towns that you have never heard of… hopefully won’t get the bird flu.
