Last week President Bush was in meeting with his cabinet. They were discussing the events surrounding the hurricanes that have hit the US.
One of the cabinet members finished his report stating that among the death toll, 2 brazillion tourists were also killed.
To this Bush put his head in hands and started saying “Oh my god oh my god oh my god..”
Everyone in the room fell silent. After a few minutes of him repeating this, someone finally asks, “Mr Presidents, whats the matter?”
To this he replied..

OK.. I’m back from tokyo, alive and well! Tokyo r0×0rs all, but I don’t think I could live there very long. Anyways, it’s late and I am tired. I will write a more descriptive event journal later.. in the mean time, enjoy the unannotated photos here.
Once I get a chance I will put descriptions in, it seems iPhoto isn’t transferring them. Anyways, most of those photos are from the Nikko Shrine grounds. This is the burial site of the 1st and 3rd Tokugawa shoguns and a site of one of the oldest zen schools. Like sequoia national forest…
Other photos are of Tsukiji fish market, Shibuya, Akihabara, Mejijingu, Asakusa, Shinjuku, Harajuku and a few other spots. I still have more pictures to upload and so does l2..

Well I have been bussssy. Nothing important.. work and aikido. Sadly that’s it.. On a brighter note, leaving for Tokyo tomorrow for a week… really excited about that… uhm.. was invited to go to thailand, bankok and myanmar over christmas with my aikido sensei.. hope that pans out, should be really great..
l2z school had a sports festival today. So after three hours of aikido I went to watch l2 do shintaisoubu and then watch her stupid do odd things. IE the male students dressed up in the school girls outfits and danced around the field. Interesting. Anyway, see the pics on flickr.

My uke did something weird and ended hitting me with his head.. causing this cut in my eyebrow. You cannot really tell here, but you could easily fit a quarter in the split.

Finally got around to upgrading my laptop to osx10.4. I did an upgrade just to make sure the cds were ok and then did a full wipe.
I have to say tiger seems to be running faster. I do not know if thats because it is a fresh install or a better code, time will tell.
