Well I wasn’t kidnapped or shot…

We made it back from the philippines without any problems. While I enjoyed myself most of the time while I was there, there is a huge problem with the filipines…

MiLFS!

Damn Milf’s are attacking everyone… Hey A, any milf cousins? :P
Anyways.. a brief run down is as follows.

Manilla isn’t very nice. We stayed in Makati city in a palacious 5star hotel for $40 a night. Besides visiting l2’s relatives around Manilla, we went out to a province called batangas, south of Manilla. Very beautiful area.

We then went to another small island called Puerto Gallero (or something like that..) And stayed on the beach for 2 days. We did some beach lounging, snorkling and lots of drinking. 180 peso = ~3$US, pitchers of Rum and coke and lots of 100peso pina coladas. Snorkling was probably the best time here as the reefs were amazing. I have never snorkled around reefs before and it was quite awesome, I didn’t find nemo though. The sunsets here were pretty amazing also. The only real problem with this area (and most resort beaches here I am told) is the vendors. You cannot step 5 feet without being harassed by some kid or old hag or a$$cl0wn trying to sell you a fake rolex.

Other then that, everything there was dirt cheap, especially clothes. Go figure as most are made there. Anyways, I was happy to go back to japan where the people are friend and respectful and the cities are clean.

Of Japan..

Before we left japan we spent some time in Oosaka and Kyoto. Oosaka is a very metropolitan town; modern buildings, bells and whistles, strippers and a$$h4ts.

Kyoto is a very old town.. over 1000 years, and the city shows it. There are very few buildings over 12 stories and more shrines and temples then you can imagine. We stayed with an old friend of l2’s mom and they treated us like royalty. We were here for new years and a few days after. New Year’s in japan in a family holiday and very spiritual. It is the time for the last wishes of the old year and the first wish of the new year. I cannot wait to go back here in the future and explore more.

I have some good pictures, I will post more later!

Yes… I ate the balot. It was disgusting. Really really really disgusting. I was later told balot is the philipino viagra.. which might explain why I couldn’t bend my pinkys for 36 hours. :>

I also had some sort of monkey meat and chickens feet. The monkey meat tasted like chicken except a little gamier and the chickens feet were alright except for all the small bones.

I also had a shitload of various fruits. I would have to say the amount and cheapness of the fruit was nice. Fruit is really expensive in japan. I have pictures of the balot I will put up..

Balot IS disgusting. Chicken’s feet is like gnawing on a small twig, there’s no fricking meat.

But isn’t it great you can get really wasted for less then $5!

I take it you ate lots of mangos.

    Was there redbull?
